J. Crew Drapey Wrap-Back Jumpsuit | Rebecca Minkoff Candace Block Heel Sandals | Madewell Silk Bandana | American Eagle Purrrty Sunglasses | Lawless Creamy Matte Lipstick in Brad | TANK FOR LAYERING FOR WORK: J. Crew Factory Scalloped Cami Top

Happy Tuesday!  I didn't plan on posting this outfit this week, but I got it in the mail and was "ohhh man. this is too G O O D." So here's to being spontaneous ;)  I was online shopping the other day and stumbled upon this drapey wrap-back jumpsuit, while linking the jumpsuit for spring I posted here. I immediately thought it was the perfect black jumpsuit, but didn't know if I would like it in person. The back cut out made me nervous, because ideally I'd be wearing it to work.

Fast forward to the end of last week when I got the jumpsuit in the mail andddd I'm in love. The fit is so flattering and is good with flats OR heels. I also love that I can wear it to work, but also to a date night, formal event, or even a girls night! My trick for wearing it to work is to layer this tank underneath it. It is the same material, so it doesn't bunch or lay weird! I styled the same cami in a way it was visible here - it's def a good buy- great price and comes in other colors!

Speaking of colors, this jumpsuit also comes in a berry color. I ordered it in addition to the black, just to try and be different. It's a beautiful tone, but I LOVED the black version. Big surprise there;) My other black jumpsuit I have, I have owned for over 5 years! I will wear it until it wears out and I feel the same about this jumpsuit! I think I love jumpsuits, because they are kind of androgynous and make me feel strong, yet pretty. They usually have slightly sexy aspects of them too, that aren't too over the top, aka this back cut out. Oh and POCKETS!!

You thought I was going to get through this entire post without saying it, but I also love jumpsuits for their versatility. For this jumpsuit, I styled it with the bandana, but also belted it, just went big with earrings. The silhouette is actually a great stand alone design though, so you really can't go wrong with anything! If you're lucky you'll be able to steal it for 40% off!! Not sure how long the sale lasts, but grab it, friends!! But TBH, I bought mine without a discount and it was 100% worth it. (runs true to size - wearing a 4).

Do y'all have a "go-to" item that looks good for any occasion, like my jumpsuit? Do share! I'm always looking for easy-chic pieces.
