Don’t get me wrong - I love a pretty dress; however, there’s just something about a good jumpsuit! I have a staple jumpsuit that I wear to work, events, and other things - it is black, with a tuxedo front and it is F A N T A S T I C. I have had it for almost 5 years now and still wear the heck out of it!
I saw this blue and white striped jumpsuit and instantly fell in love. I ordered it because I loved the bow on the back and wanted to try it out, even though it probably wouldn't fit me...key word probably. I'm usually okay on jumpsuits with a full pant leg, but when it is cullote-ish like this one, it usually fits me super weird in the torso and, well...gives me major camel toe. What can I say? It's the truth! Anyway, when I slipped this one on, it fit me perfectly! Besides the fit, I love the vertical stripes and think the pattern placement is so flattering. Also, I still can't get over how cute the bow is. Would go perfectly with an up-do for a spring soiree! OR if you are a bride to be, it would be a fun twist instead of wearing all white to a shower. Just pop it with white shoes/accessories. It has that "something blue" look too;)
This jumpsuit is true to size - I'm wearing a size 4 for reference. I love that this isn't too tight, and is...dare I say, comfortable?! AND IT HAS POCKETS. Yep. It is a little bit of a splurge but the quality is there anddd it will last at least a couple seasons. What's more classic than blue and white stripes?! Anyway, because the J. Crew fit is so great, here's some of their current jumpsuits! I think I need the chambray one and/or the black one with sleeves! What do y'all think? Are you on the jumpsuit train or do you hold their one fault against them? Girls, you know what I'm talking about;)
