Happy Monday! I hope youā€™ll spend at least a moment of this Memorial Day remembering and honoring those who have fallen for our country while fighting for our freedom.

I thought it would be fitting to share a cute 4th of July look with you today, because todayā€™s outfit would also work for a Memorial Day look!

Donā€™t get me wrong, I love a good stars and stripes shirt, but I am trying to spend my money on more versatile pieces. Novelty patterns just donā€™t get much wear time in my closet. I really liked this tank, because it is simple, but still pretty patriotic. I ā€œpattern mixedā€ and made it a little more fun by throwing a paisley bandana on too! I donā€™t want to give away our next Style for Every Body post or anything, buuuut letā€™s just say that these shorts may or may not be featured on LMoS in June. They are my current favorite because they are high rise and not too short. If you love Madewell jeans, then you will love these shorts too!

Itā€™s a short and sweet post today, but itā€™s a pretty to the point topic and itā€™s a holiday, so go enjoy some time with your family!

Be safe this weekend and donā€™t forget your nontoxic sunscreen!

P.S. If you liked this post, you might like my recent feature on eco-friendly denim. These shorts are actually fair-trade certified!!
