It's that time of yeaaaar. Christmas card season! As a little girl I LOVED getting the mail. In fact, I got mad when someone got it before me, but in the winter season, it's a whole new ball game, because Christmas cards are involved!

Nick and I have actually been sending Christmas cards together for a while now, but this year was the first time it didn't feel rushed. (read about where we had our photo shoot and why, here). I remember seeing Facebook statuses last year, where people would be like "sitting by the fire and addressing Christmas cards!" and I was instantly jealous of them. I didn't even have time to relax, let alone leisurely address Christmas cards. This year I have rearranged some things in my life, my personal stress level being one of them. I'm making time to sip hot chocolate and address Christmas cards, if it's the last thing I do!

If you are new to LMents of Style, first of all welcome! Second of all, I'm have been using Minted for a while now. Click here to see all the ways Minted has been a part of my life. So, it's no surprise that we made our Christmas Cards through Minted! Their services are so easy to use and always yield a great product. Here are some of the great features they have:

Ā

-double sided photos/printing

-portrait and landscape options

-variety of envelope colors

-envelope liner adds

-addressing and return addressing options

-custom and seasonal stamp selections

-proofing option

-high end decor like foil printing and embossing

Ā

This year we opted for a normal envelope, with a gold envelope liner. I've used their addressing services before, but wanted to write my own this year! We did have them print our return address though. Do you know how much time that saves?! Side note, I actually use their addressing assistant to house all of my addresses, since it is always available on the internet!  Our card has a foil print on the front and then another picture + a sweet message on the back. We couldn't be happier with the final product!

If you are looking for a place to create your Christmas cards, try out Minted! Plus, right now they are having their Black Friday sale, so you'll get 20% off all holiday cards, with code BF2017. Oh and as a friendly reminder, when you sign off your name on a Christmas card, the majority of names just add an "s" - no apostrophe. For the letters S, X, Z, CH or SH, add "es". That's right...we are the Mulenoses! (lol) Or just always sign of as the (your last name here) family, and you'll always be right too! Merry Christmas, y'all!
