December!! I swear everything slides by so quickly after September. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that we were gone for half the month or that between the twins’ birthday and Nick’s birthday, we get incredibly busy. Oh and the fact that we have had virus after virus. Either way, December is here and I’m hoping to soak it all in. Two year olds may be a hard age to parent in general, but it is also beautiful with all the “oh wows” and “so yummies!” I know it can also be an incredibly hard month, so know I understand that too.

Without further adieu, these are a few of my favorite things. * cue Sound of Music *

  1. BKR Demi Water Bottle. (c/o) I have not let this out of my site since receiving it. I love it so much and I adore my BIG 1L BKR. The thinness of this bottle is easier to hold AND it fits in a cupholder. It’s just so, so good. Well done, BKR team. I’ve been dreaming of this! Now I just need a water bottle satchel / holder, to carry it on my shoulder!

  2. Feltman Brothers Sweater Sets. (c/o) I have been purchasing Feltman Brothers sweater sets since the twins were born! They are such beautiful, heirloom quality pieces that are as functional as they are cute. This year I got Olive this cream set and Cyprus this plaid set. They make other items too, but the sweater sets are for sure my favorite! I did buy the twins one of their traditional, sailor-like cotton sets for my sister’s rehearsal dinner and they were a hit then too.

  3. Lunya Washable Silk Short Sleeve High Rise Pant Set. I love all my sets, but this is if the pant set and t-shirt set had a baby. It’s wonderful and can honestly be styled for Christmas parties, not just for bed. Pair the silk pants with a black sweater and put a bow in your hair. Wear the shirt with some black jeans and heels and call it a night. It’s so good and so festive… and comfy. Use code ELLEMULENOS for a discount.

  4. Hearth Display. (c/o) I’ve been chatting about them for what feels like years now! They started publicly talking about everything in 2020, but hadn’t made it to market yet. We (finally!) received ours in October and have really enjoyed it. The software is still in Beta, but should be officially out next year. They offer the display in drops, but you can get around that by using my link! The twins LOVE to mark off their routines on it and it is really nice to see our calendar on it. It has already saved me from missing a couple of appointments!

  5. Ready Set Food Apple Cinnamon Puffs. We used RSF to introduce the twins to the top allergens easily, but consistent exposure is what truly helps, even after you’re done with the baby packets. The twins HOUSE these. They love them so much. If you’re looking for a dual purpose puff, look no further!! The apple cinnamon flavor is their favorite.

  6. Primally Pure Antioxidant Balm. This feels so good, especially on fall / winter skin! I have used it as a moisturizer, but lately I just dab it on as an under eye cream. It works so well and smells wonderful, naturally. It is rich in vitamin a, c, and e, among other things - so good for your skin. Use code ELLEMULENOS for a discount.

  7. Lunya Modal Set. (c/o) I know I chat about their silk all the time, but don’t sleep on this set! IT is so comfy and great to layer under your sweats and sweaters. I also wore it to Pilates the other day and it worked great. I have a couple of the white bras, and then a black set. You can buy separate sports bra and shorts if you don’t want the set. There’s a cute bralette too if that is more your style.

  8. Frownies Facial Patches. I’ve had these for a while, but kept putting off trying them. I had some breakouts and was traveling a bit, so it was never really a good time to start. I don’t have very prominent lines, but have some on my forehead I’d like to smooth out. They say you should use them nightly for a month or so, then you can do routine maintenance. I really like them so far! I have only done them for about 2 weeks, but can already feel my forehead being trained. Wrinkles don’t really bother me, but it’s something that I have noticed and thought why not? I don’t currently have the desire to get botox, so this just felt right for me. Re: wrinkles, I’ve also been using Primally Pure Plumping Serum which has backuchiol, a natural retinol, and I really like it! Note that I don’t use it at night right now because the patches likely wouldn’t stick, but I do use it most mornings.

  9. Step 2 Naturally Playful Sand and Water Table. (c/o) The twins love a good sensory station and this one is great! It fits in a small outdoor area we have and has a lid to keep critters out. Our area is covered, but I really like that it has an umbrella we can use, should we decide to move it. We are really into to putting kinetic sand in it, but it is also great for water play, which the twins enjoy even more. If you’re looking for a good sensory table, definitely consider this one!

  10. Reformation Biana Dress. I splurged on this for our trip to Costa Rica, as I knew I’d be able to style it in the cooler months too, not just on a beach. Style it with a leather jacket and combat boots, a turtleneck and heels, suede boots and a long coat? Honestly it can be styled several ways. It is such a good fit, has pockets, and all around beautiful. I plan to wear it year-round! Note that Reformation always runs a bit small - I grabbed a size 6 and it fit perfectly.
