Today I am featuring Miss Naughty Brownie, a gourmet bakery that specializes in amazing brownies, as well as vintage cakes, French macarons, and specialty dessert bars. I first tried their AMAZING Brownies at the Addison Fork and Cork about a month ago. My bf and I ended up buying the Fiery Brunette brownie- a "hot chocolate" brownie that is made from chocolate, Ancho chili, and cinnamon!
A couple of weeks later, I had an email from Rana, the baker-in-chef, (learn more about her here) asking if I'd like to test her product. I sent her a picture of me and said that I thought we had met at the Fork and Cork and that I enjoyed her product; she then instantly remembered me...how, you ask? It's kind of embarrassing.
At the event, it was set up with booths that were mainly food vendors, so the majority of places you went had samples. There's nothing worse than a potential customer who eats all of your samples and doesn't buy anything , so I try to be mindful of that. Nick and I both tried a sample (I had the fiery brunette because I love Mexican hot chocolate) and Nick had the original Naughty Brownie. I ate the entire sample piece at once, but it was so good and I wanted Nick to try, but not take up another sample, so I kissed him to let him taste the brownie. So, that's how Rana remembered me...the girl who let her bf kiss-taste test her brownie. I guess he could have had another sample piece because we bought some, but that wouldn't have been as funny of a story, now would it?;)
Anyway, back to the brownies! Each brownie is handmade using premium ingredients without trans fats or added preservatives; however, the yumminess doesn't stop there! Every brownie has 3 layers: a cookie dough base, an Oreo cookie,and finally a layer of gooey brownie! The one I'm eating in this post is the Very Naughty, original brownie. It was to die for, but I think my most favorite ones are the Fiery Brunette and the Yin and Yang (salty/sweet caramel is added)! Are you drooling yet? Check out all of the flavors here.
