"Am I too old too wear a crop top?" I'll only be 24 in August,  but when I get stared down by other women, I sometimes ask myself that question. My boyfriend tells me not to worry about it because they're just jealous;)

There is a "classy" way to bare your midriff and it's quite simple...just don't show your belly button! Crop tops are short (duh) so you need something that is longer to make your ensemble proportionate. **Side note: if you show your belly button, I don't think you're tacky; however, being aware of your outfit proportions can make you more effortlessly chic, and who wouldn't want that? See how I've style other crops here and here

High-waisted bottoms will be your best friend when you decide to show skin. I LOVE wearing crops with high waisted shorts and maxi skirts; if I don't, I feel like I'm walking around naked. (Which is quite hilarious because in middle school and high school I'd try to wear the shortest skirts that I could get away with. You can bet that my mom is super glad I outgrew that stage!)

What are your thoughts? How do you style crops? Or do you avoid them all together?
