OMG y'all. Our Laguna Beach Trip feels like SO FAR away. Remember when we were supposed to go back in February and our trip got rained out? Well this was it! We were there for Nick's company trip at the end of June- he works for a small consulting firm in Dallas and if they make their company goals, they take the whole business out on a trip! So, yeah it was definitely for work, but play involved too. I was excited for it, because this was my first time to get to go! (s/o get invited once you're married!)
Anyway, this was my first time in Laguna Beach and it FOR SURE lived up to the hype. I mentioned on instagram that I was excited to finally visit the places that I wore plastered across my chest in middle school - thanks Abercrombie and Hollister ;) The weather was perfect and I swear, everything is beautiful. Included in those beautiful things was our hotel - the Monarch Beach Resort.
The Monarch Beach Resort was even better than I thought it'd be - the pictures don't even do it justice! Our room walked out onto the main lawn and we for sure took advantage of that! Their pool and pool service was top notch AND they have a private beach! Don't forget about their spa services - they even have a Dry Bar!! Obviously I love places that are pretty for blog purposes, but it was so nice to relax and appreciate beauty- I really didn't do any blog work, minus the occasional instagram! I know that sounds weird, but it's really hard to get unplugged...but that's another blog post for another time;)
If you are thinking of heading to Laguna, I HIGHLY recommend it and the Monarch is a great place to reside.
