While I’m aware that it is April, somehow it still feels like March and I honestly cannot fathom that May is just around the corner. Anyone else? It blows my mind that we are already in Q2! I also can’t believe that my babies turn 1.5 this month. What is happening?!

On a random note, I’ve been a baker for a while now, but what I make ebbs and flows. Last year it was cake, this year it is cookies. In the month of March I made these amazing Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookies (essentially chocolate snickerdoodles), these crowd pleasing Lemon Poppyseed Cookies (they have the perfect amount of lemon, also I like to use chia seeds instead of poppyseeds), and these Malted Chocolate Chip Cookies (that people have said are the best cookies they have ever had.)

Needless to say, those cookies have been some of my favorite things this past month. Keep reading for some of my other favorite items! All the items below are linked under the collage and most are linked in the image as well.

  1. Sarah Flint Parker 85 Pumps. I have been using shoes to update my wardrobe and feel more fun. These sheer dot ankle strap pumps were the perfect way to dance into summer, but honestly could be worn in all seasons! They wear more like a sandal, so I’m excited to amp up my outfits with them in the coming months. Use my discount code SARAHFLINT-CCLAUREN3 for 15% off. Want a full review of the brand? I shared one here.

  2. Corepower Yoga. (c/o) Okay so not completely a new thing to me, but I’ve been back this year, consistently in studio, since before the pandemic began! I really wasn’t sure I had time to go / be away from the twins, but I am so glad I’ve started prioritizing this. I love the way it makes me feel! They have CPY studios in most major areas, so check it out if you haven’t already. They have special deals for new classes and members. If there’s not one in your area, you could look into their yoga on demand.

  3. Primally Pure Facial Cups. I’ve looked into facial cups for several years now, but never invested in them. When one of my favorite and most trusted brands created a set it didn’t take convincing at all! I am in and wonder why I haven’t jumped on this earlier. Everything Primally Pure makes is done to the best of their ability and these cups are no different. I LOVE them. I use them prior to using my gua sha. The base I use with them is baby balm, though any oil based serum or moisturized should work. You can now use my code every single time you make a purchase not just your first time. ELLEMULENOS works and gets you 10% off.

  4. DRMTLGY Universal Tinted Moisturizer SPF 46 Sunscreen. I’m very hesitant to try new things, but I’ve been trying so many new things lately, this sunscreen included. My skin is more on the sensitive side and I never want to cause a breakout - I have a big enough problem just dealing with hormonal breakouts as it is. BUT a friend gave me this sunscreen and I was pleasantly surprised by it. It isn’t as oily as other ones Ive tried and my makeup looks really good with it. It does not have any white cast, though it is slightly tinted.

  5. Lioness La Quinta Pants. I have been eying trouser pants for a while, but didn’t know how to incorporate them into my wardrobe. I also didn’t know if I would love them / how often I would wear them, so I didn’t want to spend too much money. I found these and they fit the look and budget I was going for. I have them in the olive hue, but they come several colors, linked here. They do run big - I’m normally a M in bottoms, but the S in these are almost too big, so I would for sure size down.

  6. Goop G.Tox Himalayan Salt Scalp Scrub Shampoo. (c/o) I have tried detox shampoos here and there, but I didn’t know how good they could be until I tried this one!! It is so good and I love the spa-like scent too. I love how it makes my hair not only look, but feel… soft to the touch and no build up. I had a couple friends tell me they liked it too when I brought it up and my response was why were you gatekeeping it?! So so good. It is actually included in the Sephora Spring Bonus Sale, so it’s a great time to try it. There’s also a smaller sized tub, which would be great for travels or if you want to try it out prior to committing to a full size.

  7. Cadbury Mini Eggs. How had I never consumed these before? I recently made this cookie recipe which many of my friends have dubbed as the best cookie they have ever had and the recipe calls for the eggs. They are actually really yummy! I had to included them on this post for Easter’s sake and in case you hadn’t tried them either. They are similar to M&Ms, but the shell is slightly different and the chocolate tastes a bit malted. Go grab some on sale this weekend, as Easter is Sunday! That’s what I’m going to do ;)

  8. Show Me Your Mumu San Fran Overalls. I am not an overall girl, but these make me rethink that! The flare is so chic and I love the fit. They have side buttons, so you might be able to wear a smaller size more comfortably than you think. I have a size S and they fit me like a glove. I grabbed them at a sample sale and think they are worth it full price , BUT recently found them on sale for 30% off here and I have no idea why they are marked like that. Grab them while you can! I’m going to wear this all spring and summer.

  9. Just Bare Chicken Tenders. I try to keep these stocked at all times for easy meals for my family! The twins eat them as is and we do too, but we also like to make caesar salad wraps with them or even our own version of Chikfila Chicken Minis. They also have bites, but I think the tenders have better flavor. I haven’t tried them before, but they have a spicy version too. I like the ingredients or like there of, plus they taste better than most other frozen tenders I’ve tried. They are always sold out on Amazon Fresh (that is the only place I can find them), so I would imagine some of y’all are stocking up too!

  10. Jones Road What the Foundation. (c/o) This is my most surprising add for this month. I did not expect to like it at all because I’m not a foundation girl, but I love this. It is like your skin, but better. It is moisturizing, yet doesn’t rub off when you hug someone. I’m in the lightest shade porcelain.
